Hill was a familiar face in the Washington, DC area, having forecasted the weather for the city for more than three decades.

Hill worked for ABC 7 News at Noon, 4, 5, and 6 p.m. as a meteorologist.

He has received the American Meteorological Society’s Seal of Approval as well as a Washington Emmy Award for broadcast excellence.

He’s also worked for affiliates in Richmond, Virginia, and Detroit, Michigan, as a meteorologist.
