Delonte West is a professional ex-basketball player. Throughout his career, he played for reputed clubs including Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers.

The policeman commanded him to leave the cans on the sidewalk and he followed the orders. But he began placing his hands on the waistband of his pants.
Thus, one officer tasered West and handcuffed him. When he was taken to the vehicle, he started obscuring rants to the policemen.
Delonte was detained for resisting an officer without violence, disorderly intoxication, and having an open can.
